Drake and Wizkid made history with their 2016 hit “One Dance,” which became the seventh song of all time to reach over 3 billion streams on Spotify.

Drake shared the news on his Instagram Story, posting a screenshot of a conversation he had with manager Man Like Morgan, who congratulated him on the milestone.

“One Dance is officially the first 3 billion streamed single and the 7th single on Spotify. I remember SOTA and your chalkboard with the tracklist for VIEWS. There was a song called “High Powered.” had. “This song has been streamed 3,002,082,636 times,” the Canadian wrote.

“One Dance” was the lead single from Drake's fourth studio album, Views, released in April 2016.

The song topped the charts in 15 countries including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and Nigeria. He also won several awards, including two Billboard Music Awards, one American Music Award, and a Grammy nomination.

This song is one of the most successful collaborations between Drake and Wizkid. The two also collaborated on Wizkid's hit song “Ojuelegba” remix and “Come Closer.”

“One Dance” includes Ed Sheeran's “Shape of You,” Post Malone's “Rockstar,” Tones and I's “Dance Monkey,” The Chainsmokers' “Closer,” “Closer” by The Chainsmokers, “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd and “Havana” by Camila Cabello.

The song was also the most streamed song on Spotify in the 2010s, according to the platform's data.
