Wizkid throws shade at Don Jazzy after being mocked by artist Ladipaw

Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has slammed music executive Don Jazzy while reacting to the shadows thrown at him by Maybin signee Ladipaw.

Rapper Ladipo, who is signed to Don Jazzy's label, recently mocked Wizkid's controversial statement that “hip-hop is dead.”

“'Hip-hop is dead' Nigerian rappers survived by watching Afrobeat artists go through their own experiences,” Ladipaw wrote via X.

On Monday morning, a fan warned Wizkid to be careful in the shade, to which the Starboy boss replied, “LOL, I never chat with anyone who has an influencer contract. Next.”

He also retweeted two tweets that suggested he was referring to Don Jazzy as a social media influencer.
