Tinubu, 72: You are a bold leader – Buhari, Sanwo-Olu, Hubala and others praise Nigeria's president

Former President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Mr. Siminalai Hubala of Rivers State and other dignitaries have praised President Bola Ahmed on his 72nd birthday.

Buhari, in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, commended the Tinubu administration for its sustained efforts in overcoming Nigeria's many challenges.

“My family and I pray to God that you are healthy, happy and continue to work for the betterment of the country. Happy birthday!” Buhari said.

Meanwhile, Sanwo-Olu, in a statement by his media aide, Gboyega Akosile, described Tinubu as a “brave, bold and passionate leader who is committed to Nigeria's progress, growth and development.”

He further added, “President Tinubu’s financial wizardry and economic intelligence were put to good use as Governor of Lagos State and took our dear state to new heights. Today, Lagos is the pride of Nigeria; It occupies an enviable position as Africa’s fifth largest economy.”

Similarly, Mr Hubala described President Tinubu as a selfless leader, a champion of peace and unity and a bridge builder who created the growth of democracy in the country.

Hubala disclosed this in a statement by his chief spokesperson, Nelson Chukwudi, on Thursday.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Abbas Tajudeen also praised Tinubu.

Abbas described Tinubu as a “master of progressive politics” in a congratulatory address by his media aide, Moussa Krishi.

Similarly, the Deputy Senate President, Senator Jibrin Balau, commended and congratulated Mr. Tinubu as a visionary leader.

DAILY POST recalls that last Sunday, Tinubu asked well-meaning friends and family members to keep a low profile on his birthday due to the mood of the country.
