Three people investigated by police for suspected mob activity in Kano


The Kano State Police Command has arrested three suspects for their alleged involvement in mob activities in Fagge Local Government Area of ​​the state.

State Police Commissioner Hussaini Gumel told reporters in Kano on Thursday that the suspects were arrested at around 10pm on March 27 for possessing matchlock guns.

He gave the suspect's name as Hassan Abdullahi (20) from Zango district. Mufit Kamal (16) of Kuntau Cantonment and Musa Muhammad (20) of Brigade Cantonment in Phagge Local Government Area of ​​the state.

He said other thugs fled the scene of the crime when they saw the arrival of police and their men.

However, the CP revealed that one person from the brigade quarters, Musa Muhammad, sustained serious head injuries.

He said the victim is currently undergoing treatment at the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital in Kano while an investigation into the incident has been launched.
