Meanwhile, the government has approved cashbacks for the implementation of promotions in 2022 for SUBEB faculty and non-teaching staff, which is part of the government's efforts to increase the purchasing power of workers at this time.

Governor Abdulrazaq has always said he would clear all salary and promotion arrears inherited from his predecessor, and since taking office in 2019, he has gradually fulfilled his campaign promise.

“The final resolution of SUBEB and local government salary arrears brings an end to consistent payment demand campaigns dating back to 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019,” the statement added.
