Kogi House of Assembly approves 11 new appointees of Governor Ododo

The Kogi State House of Assembly has approved 11 new appointees of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Lawmakers approved the new appointees during Thursday's plenary session.

Those confirmed were Mr. Christopher Ayo Olubunmi, Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Christian Pilgrimage Committee, Mr. Stephen Joseph (Standing Committee I), Mr. Barnabas Oyibo (Standing Committee II), Himikae Jo-der. Mr. Babajide (Standing Committee Member III).

The House of Assembly also approved the appointment of Sheikh Luqman Imam Abdullahi as the Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Hajj Committee. Mr. Salikif Abdullahi Abdulkadir (Permanent Member I), Mr. Mohammed Yahaya Abubilat (Permanent Member II), and Mr. Haruna Dauda Okuku (Permanent Member III).

Mr. Alhassan Adakeke, former Majority Leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly, has been confirmed as Standing Member I of the Kogi State Universal Basic Education Commission, while Mr. Dauda Aliyu and Mr. Abdulrahaman Aziz Obini have been appointed as permanent members of the body respectively. Approved by Committee members I and II.
