Ondo elections: APC and PDP raise N905 million from sale of forms.

Exile: Only political defectors and “domestic staff” remain with Ihedioha, PDP says

The leadership of the Abo Mbaise branch of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has debunked “purported defection claims” by people purporting to be internal affairs staff of former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chief Emeka Ihedioha.

The branch, in a statement signed by Aboh Mbaise PDP chairman Maxwell Nabuye on Sunday, maintained that the party was completely intact and that only Mr Yedioha's “personal staff” had resigned from the party.

Ihedioha's home branch claimed that he was removed from the party because he “failed to mobilize the NEC of our great party to dissolve the National Working Committee.”

He continued: “Normally we would not have given credibility to a drowning person in the form of a response. However, in the interest of clarity, we are issuing this statement to set the record straight. I have no choice but to.

“The only people who have left Abo Mbaise’s party are mainly politicians and Chief Ihedioha’s domestic staff.

“How can you talk about deserting Abo Mbaise’s party when you have people like Mike Ahamba (SAN), the supreme leader of the party? Rt. Iheanetu, former Minority Leader in the Imo State House of Assembly; Chief Justice Anamerech Agwa, former Attorney-General and Attorney-General of Imo State; Honorable incumbent Member of Parliament representing Abo Mbaise State Constituency, Mr. Ugochukwu Amche and Minority Leader; , Mr. Arthur Ugochukwu, former House of Representatives aspirant, Mr. Dumebi Nwachukwu, former New Media Director of the Imo PDP Governorship Election Council, and many other members are still strong members of the party. mosquito?”

The PDP, Abo Mbaise branch, said that as far as this was concerned, “no one left our party. In fact, the departure of Iedioha and his sons is a sign of the fact that the party has been left in the past due to his overwhelming influence. For all those who left, we opened the way to return to our great party.”

The party called on the people to ignore what it called “Ihedioha and his propaganda machine” and said: “Our party will retire him from active politics and bring the great party to power at all levels of government.” We are focusing on returning the country to its current position.”

“In the coming days, our party will unveil a blueprint for building a united and prosperous party in Abo Mbaise.”
