Egypt, Nigeria win big, African Games 2023 final medal table (full list)

The final standings medal list for the 2023 All African Games has been announced.

This follows the conclusion of the Olympic Games in Ghana on Saturday.

Egypt topped the medal rankings with a total of 189 medals (101 gold, 46 silver and 42 bronze).

Following the North Africans is Nigeria, who are in second place with 120 medals (47 gold, 33 silver and 40 bronze).

South Africa is third with 106 medals (32 gold, 32 silver and 42 bronze).

Other countries in the top five include Algeria with 114 (29 gold, 38 silver and 47 bronze) and Tunisia with 87 (21 gold, 27 silver and 39 bronze).

The host nation, Ghana, won 68 medals (19 gold, 29 silver, and 20 bronze), ranking 6th in the final medal standings.

Morocco, Ethiopia, Mauritius, Kenya and others rounded out the top 10 on the list.
