Terrorists on Sunday night abducted 87 people after launching a fresh attack on Kajuru Station community in Kajuru Local Government Area of ​​Kaduna State.

Haris Dali, a member of Kajuru Station Youth, confirmed the incident on Monday.

Harris said the terrorists attacked the village around 10 p.m. They also broke into some stores and stole food and other valuables.

The attack came just two days after 15 women and one man were kidnapped in Dogon Noma area of ​​the same local government.

The Kajuru and Chikun LG people have become hotbeds of kidnappings in the past two weeks, creating tension in the state.

Harris explained that contact has not yet been established with the 87 local residents abducted on Sunday night.

“As of my visit to the area this morning, security personnel have not yet been drafted to restore the confidence of the villagers.

“The villagers are traumatized by the sad development. The government needs to re-strategize to deal with these terrorists,” he said.

DAILY POST reported that terrorists have kidnapped over 172 villagers in the area in two weeks.

State Police Public Relations Officer ASP Mansur Hassan was yet to respond at the time of filing this report.
