Audu disappointed Wiki Tourists didn't win NNL playoff ticket

Wiki Tourists head coach, Azeez Audu has expressed disappointment that the team did not qualify for the Nigeria National League Super Eight play-offs.

Audu, however, appealed to Bauchi Elephants supporters to remain calm.

He praised the efforts of the players and management.

“It was disappointing to lose at this point, but it was ordained by Allah. We appealed for calm from all sides,” he said in an interview after the match.

“Everyone from the commissioner, management, technical crew, players and other behind-the-scenes staff have tried their best to secure promotion this season, but our efforts did not yield the desired results.

“Therefore, we must remember that this is our destiny and accept it sincerely.”

Elkanemi Warriors, Nasarawa United, Sokoto United and Madiba FC are the other teams who have qualified for the NNL Super Eight Playoffs.
