Abia APC chief dies after collapsing in church

Chief Obinna Atuonu, organizing secretary of the Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, has been confirmed dead after collapsing in church.

The 65-year-old politician died during a church service in Aba while addressing parishioners.

The Nation reported that his only surviving brother, Dr. Chiedozie Atuonu, received a call to rush from Umuahia to Aba and upon arrival, he discovered that his brother was seriously ill and was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.

The body of the late APC organizing secretary has been deposited at the mortuary.
