World Military Wrestling: Nigerian military woman wins gold medal (video)

Corporal Ruben Hanna, representing the Nigerian Armed Forces, received the gold medal within the girls’s 76kg class on the thirty sixth World Military Wrestling Championships being held in Azerbaijan.

The Army Command disclosed this in a publish on its official X deal with on Saturday.

The publish learn that Corporal Hanna mentioned, “I would like to thank the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taolid Lagbaja and other service chiefs for ensuring the participation of wrestlers from the Nigerian Army in the 36th World Military Wrestling Championships.” It has been reported.

“Preparation for the tournament was great because we had everything we needed to do to win.”

She received silver medals within the girls’s 76kg class on the 2022 and 2023 African Wrestling Championships.
