Cross-dresser Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky has shed more light on his journey to becoming transgender.

The controversial internet personality revealed that he started cross-dressing as a marketing strategy while selling unisex clothes during his undergraduate days at the University of Lagos.

In a candid interview with maverick singer Charly Boy, Bobrisky said he never imagined cross-dressing would turn him into a transgender person.

he said: “About nine years ago, I was studying Accounting at the University of Lagos. I also had a side job selling unisex clothes. Most of the time I tried on women's wear myself. , I like that costume.

“From there, I moved into women's hair and makeup, and more women started patronizing my business. So I decided to continue cross-dressing because it was lucrative.

“I never thought I'd do it for very long. At first it was just a marketing ploy, but people complimented me on how I looked better as a woman than as a man. That's how I became Bobrisky.” is.”

He said he initially faced opposition from his parents, but eventually they allowed him to be himself.
