Veteran Yoruba actor Olofina passes away.

Veteran Yoruba actor, Adeji Aderemi also known as Olofina has passed away.

DAILY POST reported that Olofina passed away on Thursday at the age of 74.

The deceased was a native of Ede, Osun State and had lived in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, for many years.

Olofina has starred in various Yoruba movie epics such as Ogbori Elemoso, Ayanmo, Bashorun Ga, Afonja and many more.

Others include: Lagbondoko and Balogun Ibikunle are produced by Biodun Eleni Latino and others.

His close aide Chief Secretary Muslim Dadhunjo, also known as Baba Jognomi, confirmed the actor's death to DAILY POST on Thursday.

Dadohunjo said the deceased died on Thursday night.

He said, “He passed away this evening. He has a house in Ibadan but returned to Ede and died there at the age of 74.''

He was previously Solaroju of Ede, but has been promoted to Majovale of Ede.
