The Commander-in-Chief of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Kwara State, Umaru Mohammed, urged the command staff to uphold the core values ​​of the Corps, stressing integrity and respect for human rights.

He said this during his first working visit to the organizations under his command in the state.

Commanders visit more than 20 division offices as part of a strategic effort rooted in the need to gain first-hand visibility into operational activities, assess personnel performance, and ensure effective performance of the Corps’ statutory missions. did.

He unveiled plans to expand visits to all regional commands and divisional offices in the state, praising the divisions and beyond for their unwavering dedication to protecting lives, property, critical national assets and infrastructure. .

He called on Corps personnel to work closely with other security agencies, local communities, farmers and pastoralists to promote peaceful coexistence and prevent potential conflicts.

Commander Umar expressed his gratitude to the traditional rulers and other stakeholders in the areas he visited, thanking them for their long-term support and creating an enabling environment for the Corps to flourish.
