United Nigeria Airlines on Monday canceled its entire flight schedule, leaving passengers stranded, The Nation reported.

The newspaper said an unidentified man, believed to be one of the stranded passengers, appeared in a viral video expressing his dissatisfaction with the development.

The man said, “You make decisions without even considering the customer, as if you were begging them to get on the plane.” After everyone was on board, the flight was canceled, what did you do, you didn’t do anything? , and asked me to pay for the flight ticket.”

Recall that United Nigeria Airlines flight NUA0504 from Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos to Abuja landed at Asaba International Airport, Delta State on Sunday.

DAILY POST reported that the development, which appeared to be a shocking turn of events for the passengers, was said to be due to poor weather in the capital’s destination.

However, the airline’s management, in a statement issued by its corporate communications director, Asiliu Chudo Uchegbu, said the announcement was made in error.

Uchegbu said the pilot of the plane was aware of the turn and was properly briefed.

Following this development, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has suspended all foreign leased aircraft under United Nigeria Airlines.
