UCL: Sanusi doubts Porto vs Barcelona match

Nigerian defender Zaidu Sanusi is a big doubt for Porto’s UEFA Champions League clash with La Liga giants Barcelona.

The Dragons will face Xavi’s side on Tuesday night (today) at the Estadi Olympique Lluis Company.

Sanussi was included in Porto’s 24-man squad for the match despite missing the cup match against Montalegre at the weekend.

The left-back held partial training with his team-mates on Monday night.

Porto coach Sergio Conceição said: “I don’t know whether Zaidu and Pepe will be ready for nine minutes or 90 minutes, because they had their first training session with the team today (Monday). Because we did the first part.” Quoted by A. Bora.

“If one of us is unable to contribute, I will make the decision because every minute counts.”

Sanusi has played two games in the competition for Porto this season.
