U.S.-Africa Trade Council unveils new identity to promote investment


The U.S.-Africa Trade Council has become the U.S.-Africa Trade Commission.

The Executive Director and CEO of the commission, Titus Olowokere, disclosed this in a statement to DAILY POST on Monday.

He said this development reflects a commitment to expand the scope of promoting bilateral trade relations between the United States and Africa.

He added that the changes will strengthen the organization's mission to foster deeper economic partnerships, capitalize on business opportunities and drive sustainable growth across Africa.

“The changes at the U.S.-Africa Trade Commission represent an exciting evolution for our organization.

“We strongly believe that elevating our status to the committee underscores our commitment to fostering stronger trade relationships between the United States and Africa,” he said.
