EPL: Ten Hag makes major recovery from injury ahead of Everton vs. Man United

Transfer: Manchester United shortlists four attackers to sign

Manchester United have reportedly shortlisted four “low-cost” attackers to sign in the January transfer window.

According to The Athletic's Rory Whitwell and Dan Sheldon, the four players are Bayern Munich's Eric Choupo-Moting and Thomas Muller, RB Leipzig's Timo Werner, and VfB Stuttgart's Selhaw Gilasy. It is said that

Erik ten Hag's side are eyeing lower-cost options to strengthen their attacking third in the second half of the season.

Man United have not impressed much in the attacking third this season, losing 14 games across all competitions.

This includes nine defeats in the Premier League, and they currently sit in seventh place.

Manchester United are 14 points behind leaders Liverpool after 20 games.

The Red Devils have scored just 22 points in the league.
