Transfer: Chelsea prioritize signing Osimhen next summer

Chelsea have named Victor Osimhen to help strengthen their attack.

The Blues have struggled to convert most of the chances they have created this season.

The London club are looking for more experienced options for current forwards Nicholas Jackson and Armando Broja.

According to the Telegraph, they will prioritize Osimhen’s transfer.

Osimhen has yet to commit to a new contract with Napoli that will see him leave the club next summer, but that is likely as the Nigerian has one year left on his contract by then.

The 24-year-old returned to action for the Serie A champions on Saturday after missing the past six games with a hamstring injury.

Brentford’s Ivan Toney and Santiago Jimenez, who plays for Feyenoord in the Dutch league, are also strikers who have been linked with Chelsea.
