Transfer: AC Milan eyeing Akor to replace Giroud
Serie A giants AC Milan are eyeing the signing of Montpellier forward Jerome Accor to replace Olivier Giroud.
Giroux, who turned 37 in September, has a few years left in his career.
The Ruthenians consider Akor to be the long-term successor of the French.
The club is also considering signing Ivory Coast international Selhou Guirassy and Canadian international Jonathan David.
Akor joined Ligue 1 club Montpellier from Norwegian club Lilleström in the summer.
The 23-year-old has scored seven goals in 11 league appearances for La Paillard.
