The Lagos Coroner’s Court sitting at Ita-Elewa, Ikorodu on Wednesday, November 22, said the most crucial aspect of a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death of the late music star, Ilerioluwa (Promise) Aloba, also known as Mohbad, is being conducted in the United States of America (USA).
The Nation reports that the State Counsel, O. Akinde, told the Coroner Magistrate, Adetayo Shotobi, that the autopsy on the external body of the deceased has been completed.
“The toxicological test, which has to do with the internal body, is being done in the USA,” he said
Akinde made this known following the insistence of another lawyer for the father of the deceased, David Fadimu, TNKay Music Worldwide, David Nawoola, and the representative of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ikorodu, OSA Aranmolaran.
The coroner, Magistrate Shotobi, asked why toxicology was taken abroad when there are toxicology laboratories in Nigeria.
