Tinubu’s God-Ordained Presidency – Oba of Benin

The Oba of Benin, Omo N’ Oba N’ Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, says Tinubu’s presidency was ordained by the Almighty God. The monarch said this during a visit to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday, November 27. He said it must have pleased God to ordain Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President of Nigeria if his difficult road to victory was anything to go by, including the many court cases that greeted his ascension as President.

“God ordained Tinubu to become president of Nigeria. We are all one. I’m for peace and tranquility. We must live together as one. Nigeria is big. We must resolve our differences and learn to live together as one big family,” he said

The Oba of Benin, who congratulated Sanwo-Olu on his re-election and commended his giant strides, however, advised him not to rest on his oars but to do more to achieve greater heights in his second term.
