Tinubu and Ganduje plot to hand over Rivers APC to Wike, causing trouble for Amaechi-Eze.
The leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has condemned the dissolution of the party executive in Rivers State.
Eze, in a statement on Saturday, alleged that the development was part of a conspiracy to embarrass former Rivers Governor Chibuike Amaechi.
Mr. Eze noted that President Bola Tinubu and the party’s national chairman, Umaru Ganduje, have hatched a plan to hand over the state branch of the party to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and sack Mr. Amaechi and his team. Develop the party to a sustainable position. ”
He reminded those he termed cabal to be wary, describing Wike as a political chameleon.
“I am happy to point out that both Mr. Tinubu and Mr. Ganduje have suffered and tried Wike’s bitter medicine in most of his attempts to destroy the party and hand over the party structure to him and his agents. It will definitely backfire.
“But unfortunately, all the appointments made so far by Tinubu and his government were in favor of Mr. Wike, who used state resources at his disposal to fight Rivers APC to an impasse.” he said.
Mr. Eze appealed to Mr. Ganduje and the national leadership of the party that the out-of-state dissolution is pending before a competent court and before that, an ex parte motion praying for the parties to maintain the status quo has also been filed. We asked them to bear in mind that their actions may have disadvantageous consequences. – This means that the establishment of an interim committee will be shelved.
