Labor Party presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi. stated the vast majority of members of the Nigerian delegation to the COP28 climate summit in Dubai are non-relevant civil servants or family, buddies or followers of senior authorities officers.
In a publish shared on his X, Obi stated that most individuals in the Nigerian delegation hardly understand or have anything to do with climate change.
This comes hours after the presidency was criticized for taking media persona, Toke Makinwa, as half of its delegation to the climate summit.
