The Supreme Court will give justice to Mutfan and Lawal — PDP Government
The Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum has expressed confidence that the Supreme Court will issue a just decision on the removal of Plateau State Governor Caleb Muthofan and Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal.
DAILY POST recalls that the Court of Appeal had dismissed Mutofan and Lawal for various electoral violations.
But the forum said the appeals court’s ruling was a temporary setback.
They disclosed this in a communiqué issued after a meeting held in Abuja on Thursday.
The communiqué reads as follows: “The meeting considered recent decisions of the Court of Appeal regarding governors of various states and noted that the results were mixed.
“As a forum, we reiterate our collective confidence in the judiciary to deliver justice. I believe that he will make a fair judgment.”
