The Nigerian Senate has postponed the resumption of its plenary session from April 23 to 30, 2024.
The postponement was contained in a notice issued by the Senate Secretary, Chinedu Akubueze, on Thursday in Abuja.
Part of the notice read: “Distinguished Senators, the resumption of the plenary session, which had been adjourned to Tuesday, April 23, 2024, has been further postponed until Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. We are pleased to inform you that this has happened.”
“Please note that the plenary session will be held in the Senate chamber.
“We deeply apologize to the special senators for any inconvenience this postponement may cause.”
According to a report by DAILY POST, this is the second postponement since members of the upper and lower parliaments went on Easter and Salah holidays.
