The matter will never be swept under the rug or rug

Spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said he reacted to a popular story of a 20-year-old lady allegedly gangr@ped in Imo.

Twitter user @PIDOMNIGERIA shared the sad story of how the victim was allegedly lured to a location by alleged rapists who hacked her friend’s phone.

The suspects allegedly took turns raping her while smoking a banned substance called methamphetamine, also known as Mkpuru Mmiri.

The Twitter user said the victim was menstruating, but the suspects rejected her pleas and proceeded to rape her.

ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, said the matter will not be swept “under the carpet” as the police will do whatever is necessary to serve justice.
