Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has deactivated his social media accounts.
Uzoho has come under heavy criticism following his poor performance with the Super Eagles.
The Omonia Nicosia goalkeeper has been blamed by many football-loving Nigerians for being the reason why the Super Eagles missed out on the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The 25-year-old spilled Thomas Partey’s shot during the 1-1 draw between the Super Eagles and eternal rivals Ghana’s Black Stars.
Uzoho also conceded low scores in friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.
He once again came under fire after conceding another cheap goal in the Super Eagles’ match against Zimbabwe on Sunday.
Amid heavy criticism of his performance, his account @Uzohof on X was deleted.
Uzoho has earned 32 caps for Nigeria.
