Shooting Stars still on the right path – Coach Ogunbote
Shooting Stars head coach Gbenga Ogunbote believes his team is on the right track despite Sunday's stalemate against Heartland.
Oluyole Warriors could not take any chances in this match.
Ogunbote said the team will look to regain the lost points in the upcoming matches.
“I think Round 38 is still a long way off. We've only played 11 games. There are still 27 games left to decide the champion,” he said in the post-match interview.
“Our dream is to finish on a good note as we still have games left.
“As we've seen here in Itami, we want to have a free-level playing field for the next game as well.
“We will definitely regain the points we lost here in Itami.”
The Shooting Stars dropped to 5th place due to the draw.
The Ibadan club scored 18 points in 11 matches.
Shooting Stars will next face Sunshine Stars in the South West Derby in Akure on Wednesday.
