Osimhen has been sidelined since sustaining a hamstring injury during international duty last month.
The striker missed the Serie A champions’ last six games across all competitions as a result of the setback.
The Nigerian player underwent individual training and gym sessions last week.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli doctors plan to accelerate his recovery over the next two days in preparation for Saturday’s match against Atalanta.
The 24-year-old is expected to be included in Napoli’s squad for the game at Jewys Stadium.
Osimhen has appeared in eight league games for the Partenopei this season, scoring six goals.
