Robi Stars’ win against Kwara United excites Agagbe.

Lobi Stars head coach Eugene Agagbe has revealed that his players are reaping the fruits of their hard work.

Pride of Benue played away to Kwara United in Ilorin on Sunday, winning 2-0.

An own goal and a goal from Stanley Ogabor gave the away team the highest points.

Agagbe said the goal was to maintain continental ambitions with a win.

“I appreciate the hard work of the players. But they need to work harder because our goal was to be in the first three at the end of the season and earn a ticket to the continent.” he said in the post-match interview.

“Our goal coming to Ilorin was to beat Kwara United. If you look at the statistics even before today's game, my team is getting even better. It’s more organized.”

Lobi Stars currently sit in second place with 32 points.
