Rihana's A$AP Rocky goes to trial for shooting of childhood friend


Rapper A$AP Rocky (Rakim Mayers) is scheduled to go on trial for the shooting incident involving his former childhood friend Terrell Efron.

The incident, which happened two years ago, recently gained public attention after a video of A$AP Rocky allegedly firing a handgun at Efron went viral.

On the second day of court hearings, it was confirmed that A$AP Rocky will stand trial on charges of firing a pistol during an argument with Efron, causing minor injuries. The rapper has pleaded not guilty.

Rocky currently faces two felony charges of assault with a firearm and could be sentenced to up to nine years in prison if convicted.

The accusations stemmed from an argument between Efron and the rapper, who had known A$AP Rocky since their high school days in New York.

In a separate lawsuit, Efron alleges that he is the victim of assault, battery, negligence, and emotional distress, and claims that on Nov. 6, 2021, A$AP Rocky deliberately set up a Hollywood show to discuss their disagreement. She claimed she lured him to an undisclosed location outside the W Hotel. .

The incident was captured on CCTV and a video circulating on social media shows Rakim brandishing the gun and firing a gun.

However, A$AP Rocky’s lawyers deny that he is the person depicted in the video.
