Police decides to conduct physical and qualification examination for constables in Enugu on January 8th.

The Enugu State Police Command has announced the venue, dates and requirements for the physical and qualification tests for successful constable candidates in the state.

This was contained in a statement issued by the command spokesperson, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, in Enugu on Friday.

“The command has confirmed that the ongoing physical examination and qualification screening of successful applicants from Enugu State for the post of Police Constable for the 2022 general and professional cadre will begin on Monday, January 8, 2024. We would like to inform you that

“The screening begins by 7am every day at the Senior Police Mess, Agbani Street, Enugu.

“Applicants are therefore required to visit to print the invitation and report to the stated venue on the date specified in the invitation, appearing in a clean white T-shirt and shorts. ” he said.

Mr Ndukwe said the mandatory screening requirements listed below should be attached together in two flat files as shown below.

“A recent passport photo. Evidence of physical/mental health from a government-recognized medical hospital and evidence of good character from the applicant's traditional ruler or village chief.

“Certificate of origin duly signed by the chairman or secretary of the applicant's local government; National Identification Number (NIN) slip, and originals and copies of credentials including O'Level results, birth certificate, or age declaration.

“Please print out the duly completed application form, guarantor form and invitation letter,” he said.

A spokesperson for the command said applicants should note that those who cannot provide the above required items will not be considered.

“They are likewise advised to pay attention to and follow the scheduled dates and times and other details and guidelines specified during the screening exercise,” he said.
