The Enugu State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appealed to Nigerians to maintain faith in the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The communiqué was signed by the state chairman of the party, Baal Ugochukwu Agbara, the APC deputy governorship candidate in the last election, Mr. Baal George Ogara, the deputy state chairman, Austin Armona, and the acting state secretary, Evan Walter Madu.
The conference expressed confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bold policy initiatives and programs that “address the inherited socio-economic and security challenges currently facing the country.”
Stakeholders appealed to Nigerians to exercise patience and cooperate with the administration to turn the situation around for the betterment of the country.
“We hereby express our confidence and full commitment to His Excellency Sen Ahmed Bola Tinubu, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and National Leader of our dear party and his hardworking team. express your support.
“We especially commend the discipline and discipline of the amiable Vice President, Senator Kassim Shettima, the National Chairman, Dr. Umaru Ganduje, our brother, Chief Emma Enukwu, Southern National Vice-President, and Dr. Ijeoma Alodiogbu. “We commend all efforts and support in restoring harmony in the party, in Enugu State APC and the country at large,” they said.
In the communiqué, the stakeholders also urged the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, to provide “full support to the APC before, during, after and until the end of the general elections. and for his committed and committed leadership of the party in the state.” date.
“We are certainly very proud of him and would like to once again assure him of our loyalty and support.
“APC Enugu State officials congratulate His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodimma on his great electoral victory.
“We are equally grateful for his unflinching support to APC Enugu State and the South East in general over the years.
“We pray that Almighty God continues to grant us health and wisdom to move things forward in Imo State for the benefit of the people.
“APC Enugu State stakeholders sincerely congratulate Ebonyi State Governor His Excellency Francis Nwiful on his victory in the Court of Appeal and confirmation of his resounding victory at the polls during the 2023 general elections.”
However, the party rejected the local government election timetable released by the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC).
The APC expressed strong opposition to what it called “packing activities aimed at exhausting the opposition parties.” But above all, APC Enugu State is still in court with ENSIEC for the disenfranchisement of APC candidates and the despicable conduct of the last LG election which was in every sense a show.
“Despite all kinds of delaying tactics used by state authorities to obstruct justice, court issues persist.
“ENSIEC is not and never pretended to be a transparent electoral umpire and the people of Enugu State have no confidence in the body of the electoral umpire.
“It is a historical fact that ENSIEC has never conducted a single local government election in Enugu State since its inception.
“Therefore, in due course, the party will issue its final position on the proposed local government elections in the state and the duplicity of EINSEC that gives the wrong impression of an election campaign to the unwary. He plans to address the general public regarding his position.” “
They commended the party’s candidates in the last election for their “persistence in pursuing election cases through the courts, especially the House of Representatives candidate, Mr. Obie Aji, who emerged victorious in Igboze North/Udenu Federal Constituency.” expressed his blessings.
