2024 Olympic Qualifier: Nadozier expects tough test against Cameroon

Paris 2024: Super Falcons goalkeeper Nnadozi aims for Olympic qualification

Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadojie is keen to qualify for the 2024 Olympics.

The Super Falcons, nine-time African champions, last competed in the Olympics 16 years ago.

Nnadozi was part of the team that failed to qualify for the previous tournament in Tokyo, Japan.

Manager Randy Waldrum's side must defeat reigning African champions South Africa in back-to-back matches next month to qualify for Paris 2024.

“I read a lot about the Olympics. I didn't qualify in 2020. At first I felt bad, but then I said to myself, 'Okay, there's still time and this is a chance to qualify.' This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win,'' Nadozier told CAFonline.

“I want to know what it's like to participate in the Olympics.”
