“According to the information available to us, there is a planned attack on the national secretariat of our party by some people under the name of “unidentified armed groups,” and at the same time some of the party’s leaders have been eliminated. designated as a target.
“We use this medium to demand a thorough investigation into this report and appropriate protection around the national headquarters and party leadership. The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) is a peaceful political party. and has never used or deployed violence to enforce its demands.
“We would like to remind you that there have been several attacks against the party in the past, which have provoked retaliation from us because we believe that no country can progress in an atmosphere of anarchy. We therefore ask that you consider this request as soon as possible.”
