The OPEC+ alliance’s ministerial meeting has been postponed to November 30, 2023 from the originally scheduled date of November 25 and 26, 2023.
The Vienna-based agency for oil exporting countries disclosed this on its website on Wednesday.
“The 187th OPEC Meeting, 51st Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) and 36th OPEC and Non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting (ONOMM), originally scheduled for November 25 and 26, 2023, has been postponed to Thursday. , November 30, 2023,” the statement reads.
DAILY POST reported that Brent crude recently surged above $81 per barrel as the OPEC+ alliance considers further production cuts.
OPEC is an organization of 13 countries that allows major oil producing countries to work together to influence the global oil market and maximize their collective profits.
