NWSL: Bay FC stadium full ahead of Oshoala's home debut

The 18,000-seat PayPal Park in San Jose was filled to capacity ahead of Asisat Oshoala's home debut for Bay FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).

Bay FC hosts the Houston Dash on Sunday in its first home game in the NWSL.

Oshoala became the poster child for pregame flyers.

“Bay FC, a new women’s professional soccer franchise representing the Bay Area in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), will hold its first ever club soccer franchise at San Jose’s PayPal Park on Saturday, March 30th (3 a.m. Sunday in Nigeria). Bay FC's opening game is sold out,'' the club announced on its official website.

The Nigeria international joined Bay FC from European champions Barcelona last month.

The forward got off to a great start in the United States, scoring in his debut against Angels FC.

She also had an assist in last weekend's 2-1 loss to the Washington Spirit.
