Reigning Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Rangers will begin pre-season training on Tuesday.
The Flying Antelopes retained 22 players from last season.
These players will be joined by newly signed Garando Tekena, Evans Ogbonda, Anayole Ogbonna, Exson Okolie, Chimobi Igwiro and Somtochukwu Nwobodo.
“We are confident that the players have had sufficient rest from the rigours of last season and we expect them to return to camp on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 for the start of proper pre-season activities,” president Amobi Ezeaku told the club's media.
“We would like to thank everyone who has supported us this season and look forward to even more from them as we make a big impact on the continent and successfully defend our NPFL title.”
Rangers won their eighth NPFL title last season.
The Coal City club is set to compete in the CAF Champions League next season.
