NPFL: Heartland resumes preparations for tornado impact after festive break


Heartland have resumed training ahead of Round 17 of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

DAILY POST reports that Naze Millionaire has been charged to play against Niger Tornadoes at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on Saturday.

The players did some light training on Tuesday night after returning from a two-day festive break.

Heartland recorded its third win of the season against the Lemostars last week.

The five-time NPFL champions moved up to 17th in the standings following the win.

Heartland suffered a 2-1 loss to the 2022 Niger Tornadoes.
