Northeastern governors arrive in Yola for regional meeting
Governors of northeastern states have arrived in Adamawa for a regular regional meeting.
Under the auspices of the North East Governors Forum, the governors of the six states regularly alternate in each state for regional meetings.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State on Friday night welcomed governors to attend the 9th regional conference scheduled for Saturday, November 25 in Yola.
Governors who arrived for the meeting include Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State, who is the Chairman of the Northeastern Governors Forum. Others include Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Agbu Kefas of Taraba and Mai Mala Buni of Yobe.
At the time this article was filed, Governor Fintiri was about to invite the governor to a gala dinner at 9 p.m.
