Nigeria’s minister of foreign affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, said the country is witnessing huge investment under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Commenting on Tinubu’s G20 Alliance with Africa (CWA) Conference in Germany in an interview on the political TV channel Today, Tuggar touched on some of the events we mentioned.

He said;

“Today the signing of a $500m agreement between the Union Bank and the German group GWX for the financing of a green energy project. Another agreement between a Nigerian group and the Germans. You know that Germany needs energy because of the lack of energy resources when the Ukrainian-Russian war started.

These are just a few of the things that happened. You have also looked at what is happening in other areas with the Nigerian private sector because of the confidence that has been restored in private sector activities by the Tinubu administration.

“Within the last two weeks Aliko Dangote signed a $500m contract with an investment firm. BUA signed another $500m contract with IFC. Then you have the Nigerian Supreme Investment Authority signing a $500m contract with IFC. In the last two weeks you can easily say $2 billion. Nigeria is huge The money under Tinubu’s administration is a testimony.”
