Niger Tornado's president urges players to improve their game

Niger Tornados president Ibrahim Dada has challenged his players to improve their performance as the club aims to move up the table.

Icon Allah Boys are currently placed 19th in the Nigeria Premier Football League standings.

Mina Club has no win in their last 5 matches with 3 losses and 2 draws.

Dada urged players to buckle up before the situation gets out of hand.

“There are teams who promise a high salary during negotiations but end up not agreeing, but that’s not the case for us, so there’s no reason not to give it our all.

“I say it again and again: Niger Tornados is not a club in debt, which most of you here can testify to,” he told the players after Wednesday’s training session.

“Come on; we’re not going to sit back and watch things get worse, and we’re not going to tolerate any more lack of seriousness or dishonesty from our players.”

The Tornadoes will host Akwa United in Round 10 this weekend at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.
