Niger State Housing Corporation, Tisbuku Realty Limited and Refugee Mortgage Bank collaborate to deliver 10,000 housing units in different local government areas of Niger State

The assertion was made on Sunday, December 3, 2023, during a physical inspection and work visit during the ongoing construction of the Green Dew (Kolelaba) Estate project. The Green Dew (Kole Raba) Estate project is designed to provide 120 affordable homes with 3 bedroom bungalows and 4 bedroom terrace triplex + BQ. It is located off Minna Bida Road in Kupakungu, Chanchanga Local Government Area of Minna.
The project is a pilot of 10,000 homes planned for Niger State. Infrastructure and amenities planned to be available on site include paved internal roads and drainage ditches, electricity (solar and utility power), water, sewage treatment, and landscaping. It also includes a gatehouse and perimeter fencing, CCTV, a play area and a prayer centre.
The Green Dew (Kole Laba) Estates project will be a public-private partnership (PPP) between the Niger State Government through the Niger State Housing Corporation (land provider) and Tis-Buk Realty Limited (developer).
The 10,000 home development will include 2,500 one-bedroom terraced bungalows, 3,000 two-bedroom semi-detached bungalows and 4,500 three-bedroom semi-detached bungalows for sale to co-operative members and the public. Contains terrace duplexes. . The project has an 84-month plan and the development cost is estimated at N167 billion.
This is a laudable development that will create employment opportunities for the youth (skilled and unskilled), which in turn will increase Niger State's Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and support Governor Umaru Bago's green economy vision. It will be strengthened. This is believed to be a major catalyst for social prosperity and poverty alleviation for the state's residents.
In his remarks, MD/CEO of Refuge Mortgage Bank said that the bank is a strategic financial partner of Tis-Buk Realty Limited in realizing this objective. This is because the Bank is in a position to offer opportunities to all members through a variety of housing products and services. The bank has also decided to establish a presence in the state capital, Minna.
According to the Director-General of the Niger State Housing Corporation, Bashir Yakubu Haruka, the project aims to provide affordable housing to the people of the state, especially civil servants and the general public. He disclosed that the Housing Corporation is willing to collaborate with Tisbuku Realty Limited in providing the required land in different local government areas of Niger State.
Speaking to journalists during a business visit, the MD/CEO of Tis-Buk Realty Limited, Engr. Kayode Adeleke, said Nigeria's historic strategic location and the visionary actions of His Excellency Umaru Bago , noted that the company had expressed interest in undertaking the project in Minna.
