Nick Vujicic officially launches ProLife Bank in November after having his bank account revoked

Evangelist and motivational speaker Nick Vujicic has announced that his new faith-friendly online banking service will finally launch in November after years of planning.

Vujicic came up with the idea of founding a conservative financial service after his bank account was suddenly confiscated about five years ago because of his involvement in the pro-life movement.

“I was kicked out of a bank without warning. They froze my credit cards, froze my debit cards,” he said. “They gave me a letter saying they had reviewed me as a customer and didn't want anything to do with me anymore.”

The new project, ProLifeFintech, is an institution that “puts God first, serves the people who use our fintech platform, and always chooses to support life… all life,” the website says. (Fintech is another term for online banking.)

The plan of the new financial organization is to donate 50 percent of its net profits to nonprofit organizations with a Judeo-Christian orientation.

Banks fire conservative Christians

As CBN News has reported in recent years, numerous conservatives have been targeted by financial institutions at home and abroad.

Last year, Britain's Barclays Bank had to pay nearly $17,000 to close the account of a Christian charity following a three-year legal battle that alleged the bank had caved in to demands from LGBT activists.

And in 2022, debanking was used against former US Senator and Ambassador for Religious Freedom Sam BrownbackWhen his National Committee for Religious Freedom (NCRF) needed a bank account, they went to JP Morgan Chase. After just a few weeks, they learned that their account had been closed.

Vujicic and the ProLife Bank

Nick Vujicic has been working to create a bank to support pro-life efforts since July 2021 after learning that many financial institutions donate to organizations that promote abortion.

It started after Vujicic gave an interview in March 2019 in which he spoke out against the killing of innocent unborn babies. “Within 16 weeks,” he revealed, “a grenade was placed in our house, a false magazine article was published against me, a lawsuit threat came, a spy drone attacked and a bank threw me out.”

Therefore, Vujicic decided to start his own bank with the help of his good friend Betsy Gray, who has extensive financial knowledge.

In an update on progress over the past year, Vujicic stated, “We all need ProLifeBank now more than ever! We ask for your prayers for a breakthrough and protection and we are grateful. As I'm sure you know, the resistance is tremendous. ProLifeBank is God's bank and His timing is perfect.”

As we previously reported, Vujicic suffers from tetraamelia syndrome, a condition that caused him to be born without limbs. Despite great challenges, he founded his own ministry, Life Without Limbs. As an evangelist, he has reached millions of people in dozens of countries with a gospel message of hope – an accomplishment he attributes to God.
