NASS member sets to marry off 100 female orphans in Kebbi

Sani Yakubu Noma, member of the House of Representatives, representing Argungu/Augie Federal Constituency of Kebbi State in the National Assembly, said he has concluded agreements to marry 100 orphaned women in the state.

Speaking to journalists in his hometown in Argungu area of ​​Kebbi State, the lawmaker said the marriage plan was part of his contributions to the welfare of orphans in his constituency.

He said the wedding ceremony will take place at the Palace of the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammad Mera, on Saturday, November 25.

He said: “A committee has been created for the successful implementation of the event. Those selected to get married were chosen from the two local government areas that I represent in the National Assembly.

“I have already purchased beds, mattresses, essential furniture and other marital assets for the beneficiaries.”
