Nasarawa United manager blames draw with EFCC on poor pitch

Nasarawa United head coach Usman Adams has revealed that the pitch at the Old Parade Ground stadium made it difficult for his team to achieve a win against EFCC.

Solid Miners ended in a scoreless draw with EFCC in the second round of the Nigeria National League.

However, the experienced tactician expressed satisfaction with the points earned in this match.

Speaking to club media after the match, the player said, “Because of the field, it was impossible to play the game in a free-flowing manner. I’m grateful for the away point.”

“It was not an easy game for us as EFCC had to recover from the humiliation of the first day.

“Nasarawa United’s next match will not be taken lightly.”

Lafia Club will next face Mighty Jets in Lafia.
