Nasarawa Guber: “The Court of Appeal has frustrated the appeal at the Supreme Court” – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has claimed that the courts or appeals are frustrating its preparations to challenge the Nasarawa State gubernatorial election judgment in the Supreme Court.

Nasarawa State PDP Chairman, Mr. Enokela Ologu, on Saturday, spoke at AIT’s Kaakaki program under the watchful eyes of DAILY POST to express the party’s grievances.

Mr. Ologu accused the Court of Appeals of blocking his access to certified copies of the judgments, which are essential to preparing his appeal.

He argued that the appeal deadline could be jeopardized because the court withheld the documents even though the judgment was being read out.

The PDP chairman questioned the transparency of the court, citing the unusual practice of reading the verdict from a basic piece of paper.

“We have approached the Court of Appeals for a certified copy of the judgment in preparation for our appeal in the Supreme Court, but the court has refused until now, saying it is not ready. We should come back on Monday. .

If they weren’t ready, why did they come to pass the verdict?

“This judgment, which I would rather call the Joker, was also read in the regular papers. This was done deliberately to prevent us from meeting the appeal deadline.

“You can’t hide the truth,” Olog said.
