A new Police Commissioner, Bzigu Dali Kwazhi, has been assigned to the Osun State Command.

A statement signed by the Command Spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, obtained by DAILY POST on Friday, also said that CP Kwazi subsequently resumed his duties on Thursday, January 4, 2023.

Opalola also added that Kwazi’s posting to the command follows the recent reassignment of former Police Commissioner Ishaq Mohammed.

The statement revealed that CP Kwazi is a thorough professional who has made headlines in several police assignments.

“He was born in Mirdu Sharmi, Madagali Local Government Area of ​​Adamawa State. He grew up to be an achiever.

“The Commissioner of Police, who holds a bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Kaduna State, is a SEC 45 alumnus of the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).

“He was commissioned in the Nigeria Police Force in May 1992 as Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (Cadet ASP).

“CP Bzigu Kwazhi has held various positions in different states of Nigeria and outside Nigeria.

“A pure-bred professional who has been a colossus in the Administrative, Operational and Investigation branches of the Nigeria Police Force since joining FORCE.

“He was, among others, the Deployment Commander of the Nigeria Police Force of the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL); Pioneer Police Logistics Officer/NCC, Guinea-Bissau ECOWAS Mission Team Coordinator, and Director of Training, FHQ Peacekeeping Operations Department, Abuja.

The statement also added that CP Kwazi is happily married with children and is “a person of experience, transparency and integrity who is worthy of emulation.”
